Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack
  2. Click Connect Slack
  3. Select your workspace and click Allow
Lyse is now available in your workspace.

Usage

Mention @Lyse in any thread to create a task.

Lyse analyzes the conversation and creates a task in your connected issue tracker.

Channels

Lyse joins a channel when you first mention it there. For private channels, add Lyse manually:
  1. Go to the channel settings
  2. Click Integrations or Add apps
  3. Add Lyse
Lyse doesn’t access direct messages.

Permissions

A Slack workspace can only be connected to one Lyse account. All team members can mention @Lyse, and tasks are created in the connected issue tracker.

Troubleshooting

Make sure you have admin permissions in your Slack workspace.
  • For private channels, add Lyse as a member first
  • Check your connection is active in Settings > Integrations
  • Mention @Lyse in a thread, not a top-level message
