Prerequisites
You’ll need at least one of these- A Slack workspace where you can install apps (for Thread to Task)
- A Figma account with a published design library (for component change detection)
- Linear
- GitHub
- Jira
- GitLab

Create your account
Go to Lyse’s app and sign up with Google SSO or via Magic Link. No password needed. Once you’re in, the onboarding flow walks you through connecting your tools.

Connect a source
Choose how you want Lyse to capture tasks. You can connect both, or start with one.For Slack (Thread to Task)
For Figma (Component changes)
- Click Connect Slack in the onboarding or go to Integrations
- Select your Slack workspace and authorize Lyse
- Choose which channels Lyse can access

For Figma (Component changes)
- Click Connect Figma in the onboarding or go to Integrations
- Authorize Lyse to access your Figma account
- Select the library files you want to track
Tip: Pick your most active library first to see results quickly.

Connect your issue tracker
Choose where you want tasks to land.
- In Integrations, find your issue tracker
- Click Connect and complete the authorization
- Select your default team or project
Lyse supports Linear, GitHub Issues, Jira, and GitLab Issues. You can connect multiple destinations if needed.

Generate your first task
Time to see Lyse in action.From Slack
- Find a thread with some discussion—a bug report, feature idea, or decision
- Reply with
@Lyseor@Lyse create a bug taskfor specific instructions - Lyse analyzes the thread and generates a task
- Open one of your tracked library files
- Make a small change to a component (update a color, adjust spacing)
- Publish the library
Within seconds, a task appears in your Lyse inbox.

Review and publish
Go to your Lyse inbox. You’ll see the task with:
- The source (Slack thread or Figma component)
- An AI-generated title and description
- A preview of what will be created in your issue tracker
